His trial has begun...in the celestial court.
Tim, you had no way of knowing the course of events that would unfold to ensure he would not be re-elected. Quite right, Missm. I'm sure Tim had absolutely no prior knowledge of Rep. Murtha's untimely demise. Did you, Tim. Ah...Tim?

LOL - Teddy and Johnny commiserating over drinks in purgatory!! Wonder how the vote will turn out? Yikes! If "Accountability" is a requirement in Heaven, these two "distinguished public servants" (aka: corrupt bastards) are already on the Purgatory Express Elevator with the button stuck in the "DOWN" position! "Hey Tony, how 'bout a little respect for the d...Oh, never mind.

Murtha should be OK as long as he doesn't allow Teddy to drive.

The man was a human being... and he just died. When he was born, his birth made his mother (like all mothers) the happiest woman in the world.
RIP John Murtha.

I'll give him this James, Murtha did provide well for his extended family with all those years of "pay for play" dealings with our tax dollars...I sure wish someone would investigate every bank account tied to old John and his family, and find out where that money came from...
RIP Mother Murtha.

We (Conservatives) can be right on all the issues, and our indignancy can be 100% justified, but it means zero if we don't possess a fundamental sense of humanity.
Making fun of a human being the day after he dies is anathema to decency, and too typical of the flavor of a lot of right-wing blowhards out there.
These spurrious blowhards are an insult to the true Conservative movement - the Conservative movement that is rooted in the Constitution, rooted in liberty and rooted in Christian principles like "love your neighbor as yourself".
Fighting and working hard against Obama, Pelosi etc. is a great thing, it's a noble thing. But what I hear mostly out there on the Right is an innate hatred for those on the other side of the aisle - a hatred that is only corrosive to our movement, and no different than what the virulent Left did/does to Reagan, Bush, Palin and any politician on our side that shows promise.
Remember, Reagan was great because people thought first that he was a good man, and second that he was tough, had the right political ideas etc. Reagan reeked of decency.
Do you think if Reagan were living today, he'd have made fun of John Murtha the day after he died?
The Conservative movement will never succeed if it doesn't take the moral high ground.
I'm not sure it's there right now.

True enough, but it is the arrogance and hunger for power and money he personified in his adult life that people will remember. Would his mother be proud of some of the dirty dealings he was part of? That last video of him ignoring all the rules and protocols during a vote he presided over was a disgrace..there is no other word for it..disgrace.
