BERRY GOOD MUSIC NEWS If you think the Vote for Change tour or new albums by R.E.M. or U2 are the biggest rock stories out there, you are wrong. Tattle is thrilled that the seminal 1970s power pop band, the Raspberries, will reunite next month for the opening of Cleveland's new House of Blues. Billboard.com, which broke this story of interest to us and a few dozen other Philadelphians, teases with "there are plans to film and record the Nov. 26 concert, the band's first in 31 years." The Raspberries, led by the singing and songwriting of Eric Carmen and Wally Bryson, formed in 1970 and scored a Top 5 hit in 1972 with "Go All the Way." Carmen later had a solo career with such smash ballads as "All By Myself," "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again" and "Hungry Eyes." But the Raspberries totally rocked, dudes. Philly.com / October 5, 2004
