Broadening their media profile, Raspberries appeared on a number of television shows in 1973 including Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, The Midnight Special, Flipside and NBC-TV's Saturday morning Go show, which featured a behind-the-scenes look at the band in the recording studio as they cut tracks for their third album: Side 3.
All of Raspberries' performances on the Go show were lip-synched to the album tracks, but this segment showing the band setting up in the recording studio with producer Jimmy Ienner and engineer Shelly Yakus captures some live sound as Eric, Wally, Dave and Jim tune up and get ready for a recording session.
The announcer for the Go show was Don Imus who went on to become one of the nation's most-successful radio personalities. A clip of Jim Bonfanti drumming from this current events show for kids became part of the show's opening segment and ran from 1973 to 1974!
